Summer Glau was an American actress, best known for playing River Tam in Firefly, the critically-acclaimed TV series. She was also Cameron in Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Apart from that, she's starred in the TV series The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow and Sequestered as also guest starring in the series Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and Hawaii Five-0. This actress, who has featured in movies such as Knights of Badassdom or Serenity is also the producer of a number of TV series and short films. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . She was the youngest of three children to Marcela and Abraham Quintanilla. When Selena was eight she began a career in a band formed by her dad. Selena's older brothers Abraham junior, who played base guitar, and Sister Suzette on drums were in the band. Selena also sang. Selena Y Los Dino, the band she performed with was named Selena Y Los Dino. She would also perform in wedding fairs as also at restaurants. It was a lot of time consuming for Selena and her siblings so they didn't have much of an early childhood, but they were encouraged to be dedicated musicians because of perseverance of the father Abraham. Abraham senior was a member of Los Dinos, the band which started the whole thing. Selena Y Los Dinos officially started in the year 1981. The band was part of the Quintanilla family's main business, and their primary source of income. Quintanillas remained focused regardless of beginning financial challenges to be an established band. The perseverance paid off by the late 1980's Selena Y Los Dinos gained notoriety in the western states. Selena won the Female Vocalist Award and the Performer's Award at the Tejano Awards in 1986. Selena Y Los Dinos became popular and well-known after this point. They've appeared on a variety of Spanish television shows like El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre En Domingo, and Sabado Gigante.
